The 6th and final ‘Back to Learning’ project meeting was scheduled to be held in Hungary in June 2020, however due to Covid-19 restrictions the meeting was deferred until September 24^th and 25^th 2020 when it was held in an online forum.

The Hungarian partners presented examples of best practice for the delivery of adult basic education programmes in local centres using presentations and promotional videos.  The overview of teaching and learning practice in the Békés County region provided an insight to the collaboration between local stakeholders; Government office, University and Vocational Training School to ensure improved outcomes and opportunities for adult learners.

It was unfortunate that we were unable to visit Békés County to observe at first-hand examples of best practice however, we appreciate the efforts of the Hungarian partners to ensure that we had an interesting and informative meeting using the online forum.

The date for project completion has been extended to February 2021, following which the final reports will be published.
